Article Types

AJCCE currently accepts two types of manuscript. Choose the matching section when you start your submission.

Research Articles

Research articles report original and significant contributions in communications engineering, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, computer networks, cybersecurity, embedded and intelligent systems, signal processing, the Internet of Things and related emerging technologies. The work must not have been published before or submitted elsewhere at the same time.

Review Articles

Review articles offer a comprehensive and critical analysis of recent developments, established knowledge and emerging trends in the journal's fields. A review should synthesise and evaluate the relevant literature, identify research gaps and open challenges, and point to directions for future research. It should add scholarly value beyond a descriptive summary of previously published studies.

Editorial handling

Both types of manuscript go through editorial screening and peer review in line with the journal's Ethics & Policies. For guidance on structure and formatting, see Manuscript Preparation.
